Pop rock - Generational Divide by blink-182

Blink-182 is the perfect model of a breakup gone right. Since the departure of raspy co-lead singer and guitarist Tom DeLonge, this group has re-emerged more mature and polished with all the same intensity that have made them a headlining name. Here in this almost frustratingly short riff, new addition Matt Skiba could have you fooled that Tom never left, but listen more on Grammy nominated California and you’ll hear that he’s every bit as good or better.

Indie pop - Let Me Touch Your Fire by A R I Z O N A

There are other songs that capture this band’s potential and the synth laden energetic tunes that are going to carry them into larger fame, but this was their original demo before they nearly gave up music to pursue more ordinary careers. One might not expect their high production value to translate onto the live stage, but make no mistake, this is a group that will be dominating festivals if their current trajectory holds.

Groovy pop - Sure Don't Miss You by BUNT. (feat. The Dip)

I told myself I wasn’t going to include any remixes in my first contribution to this publication, but I knew I wanted to introduce you to my favorite up and coming electronic duo and this felt like the right song for it. BUNT emerges as a descendent of Avicii’s blending of folksy tones and electronica, but here as in their other recent projects demonstrates broader range. If you’re intrigued, check out their Folk House mixes on Soundcloud.

Electro - Rollercoaster by Audien (feat. Liam O'Donnell)

Audien isn’t a favorite amongst the crowded DJ field, but he strikes gold with this ear-worm that you’ll want to ride over and over. Nothing else in his discography quite matches up, but most of his top remixes are worth a listen.

As always, this week’s tracks are added to the collectors for all weeks' tracks on Spotify and Apple Music.

Cheers,
