Hi friends,
This week we've got some fun ones. I may also have set a new record for "closest to four track Saturday."
Hi friends,
This week we've got some fun ones. I may also have set a new record for "closest to four track Saturday."
This song has so much texture it sounds like you could touch it. It's as if it's in the room with you. Pantha Du Prince is Hendrik Weber's most successful project and you can hear why.
Sometimes I miss Los Angeles and am reminded of this Koreatown legend. I first discovered Jonathan Park for his freestyle talent, but this track shows you how much fun he can have in the studio. Most of his works have a more serious tone, but I like this one especially because he keeps it light.
Maryliah shared CamelPhat's newest album with me earlier this week and I haven't listened to much else since. It's got that special effect that sometimes only trance music can have, lifting your mood while leaving plenty of mental space for other things. This track and its vocalist, LOWES, left me with the best vibes and stands well on its own.
Finally, we have a track that Jocelyn shared with me. Her friend, Anya Watson, started a band that recently released its first track. I was surprised with how well produced and structured the song is for a debut and am very interested to see how their sound and mixing evolves over time. There's not much info about the group; I'd love to get them on for an interview sometime. Hook it up, please, Jocelyn!
Of course, don’t forget to reply with what you liked, didn’t like, and what you’ve been listening to.
And, as always, this week’s tracks are added to the collectors for all weeks' tracks on Spotify and Apple Music.
Cheers,
Tanner
